St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force charged Sylaine Phipps, a 29-year-old woman of Boyds Village, for the offences; Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
The Police, during a security check at the entrance of a nightspot in Basseterre on October 22, 2021, found a Beretta PX4 Storm Pistol and several rounds of 9mm ammunition in Phipps’s bag.
The young woman was subsequently taken into Police custody along with another individual, a male, who was unnamed as no charges have been brought forth as yet.
Phipps was charged on October 26, 2021, and has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
