St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A magnitude 6.0 earthquake jolted the region at 12:51 am Friday (March 26).
According to the UWI Seismic Research Centre the quake center was located at latitude 16.70 North and longitude 60.75 West at a depth of 10 km.
The tremblor occurred 101 km Northeast of Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe, 130 km Southeast of St John’s Antigua and Barbuda, and 171 km Northeast of Roseau Dominica.
Residents in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and St Vincent and the Grenadines reported having felt the tremor.
