St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Chairman of the Nevis Culturama Committee Antonio Abonaty Liburd says no events are on for the usual August Monday holiday weekend for the cultural festival.
That comes as the committee did not receive the necessary approvals to host any activity from the Nevis Emergency Operations Centers.
The local government made moves very early when the pandemic first hit the Federation to altogether cancel the event.
Liburd gave an insight into the impact the virus had on the planning of the mega cultural festival.
With that not happening, the chairman notes that the committee has been set back in the planning for the 50th anniversary.
