St. Kitts and Nevis (Sports Page) – It was a long-standing record, but that did not matter to Alexander Caines one bit, as he stormed his way over the cross country route, without a pause and completely bashed in the old record.
The event was the senior boys’ cross country hosted by the Charlestown Secondary School, on Friday 1st April.
The athletes commenced at the School’s main gate and headed down the road, through Bath Village; along the Stuart William’s drive; down through Craddock Road; through Ramsbury; through Government Road; through Stoney Grove and back to the school.
It was indeed a gruelling run, but Caines made it look easy.
