St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Ministry of Agriculture is advising that the St. Kitts Department of Agriculture’s Annual Review announced this week for Thursday has been postponed until Thursday, February 4, 2021.
A statement published on St. Kitts-Nevis Information Service (SKNIS) Wednesday morning (January 27): “Please be advised that the ministry of agriculture has been advised that a National Service of Prayer will now be held on Thursday 28th January. In light of this event the Ministry of Agriculture et al has postponed its annual review and Agenda 2021 Meeting.”
“…any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
Earlier this week notice was given of the St. Kitts Department of Agriculture Annual Review Meeting and Agenda 2021 for 9:00 a.m. at the St Kitts Marriott Resort under the theme “Together, We Invest, Transform and Build partnerships for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security.”
Officials were expected to review the performance of the sector in 2020, discuss the challenges and make recommendations on the way forward for boosting the nation’s food supply.
