St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A recent voice note making the rounds on social media alleged that Dahlia Hanley, the woman that was shot dead on February 14 at the Irishtown Prime School, was a witness in a criminal matter.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, in a release, refuted the claims calling the information false.

“The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wishes to bring to the Public’s attention that the information being circulated on social media stating that Dahlia Hanley was a witness in any prior criminal matter is FALSE.”

The authorities have reported that the Violent Crime Unit is following every lead to find the motive and possible suspect(s) in Hanley’s Homicide.

The police also said that no gunshots were fired by any member of the security forces during the incident on February 14.

Anyone with information concerning the Homicide is asked to call Violent Crimes at 465-2241 or 662-3468.
