Authorities release autopsy report on the three deceased recovered from Jenna B tragedy

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Police have shared the autopsy results for the three individuals who died in the tragic boating accident involving the reported 32 passengers of the vessel Jenna B just off the coast of St. Kitts on March 28, 2023.

Fifteen of the 32 were recovered by the St. Kitts and Nevis Coast Guard; three of the 15 were deceased, two men and one woman.

The three, according to the police, are Derick Anga Azia, Verdo Mofor, and Zeta Bertrand.

Azia and Mofor had their autopsies conducted on April 19, 2023, and Bertrand on April 21, 2023.

The causes of death, according to the autopsy report, were Mechanical Asphyxia (physical force or physical abnormality that interferes with the uptake and/or delivery of oxygen) due to drowning.

Based on further information from the report, the three originated from the Republic Of Cameroon (West Central Africa), and their ages are unknown.
