Authorities To Finalize New COVID-19 Protocols For Re-Opening of Schools

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): With ongoing consultations happening between authorities and stakeholders with regards to the reopening of our borders, what about the re-opening of primary and secondary schools in the Federation?

Mr. Hodge said while schools closed in March some children were given work packages to take home, online training was available and the formal closure was effected on July 10 this year. In two weeks, the Federation’s teachers are expected to begin training for the new school term and new school protocols that include social distancing mechanisms are also being finalized.
