St. Kitts-Nevis (WINN): Two crew members of a cargo vessel docked at the Deep Water Harbor Port with the assistance of a local driver, an employee of the ship’s local agents, breached COVID-19 protocols Monday night (December 7).

Police Superintendent Cromwell Henry at the December 9 National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) press briefing said the men reportedly went shopping at a nearby supermarket and were intercepted on their way back to the vessel.

He said the incident occurred Monday (December 7) just after 7pm.

After detailing the breach, Henry reminded the listening audience of the importance of protocols.

Questions are also being raised about the security protocols that were in place at the Deep Water Port.
