St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Antigua and Barbuda is pressing ahead with plans to restructure regional airline LIAT within sixty days after a meeting with shareholder governments Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines convened Monday evening (July 20).
Prime Minister Gaston Browne made the announcement Tuesday morning on Observer AM, the morning show of the Observer Media Group, hosted by Daren Matthew-Ward.
Mr. Brown said Barbados and St. Vincent and Grenadines agreed to sell their shares in the cash-strapped airline to Antigua and Barbuda.
