by Ernice Gilbert (VI Consortium) A new poll released by VI Tech Stack in collaboration with the University of the Virgin Islands Center for Excellence in Leadership and Learning, shows Governor Albert Bryan in a commanding position just over a month before the Nov. 8 General Election.

The VI Tech Stack and UVI poll, released Friday, has proven accurate in the past, providing numbers that turned out correct during the 2018 General Election between then-Governor Kenneth Mapp and then-candidate Albert Bryan.

Friday’s poll shows Mr. Bryan, the incumbent Democrat governor and running mate Tregenza Roach holding a 22.8 point lead over the closest challenger, Independent Kurt Vialet and Janelle K. Sarauw, with 48.7% and 25.9% respectively. According to the poll, 23 percent of respondents were undecided.
