St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced in their new travel protocols that bubble excursions can include travellers arriving by air.
In response to pleas from local businesses and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, The Tourism authority approved the change in policy, allowing stayover travellers to be included in the travel approved bubble tours along with the cruise passengers.
According to the announcement, international travellers arriving by air after completing their 24-hour quarantine can now freely participate in tours, attractions and explore Port Zante while cruise ships are in port.
Now tourists from the air and cruise alike can enjoy:
Brimstone Hill Fortress and National Park, Carambola Beach Club, Caribelle Batik, Fairview Great House, Palms Court Gardens, Port Zante, including vendors from Amina Craft, Market and Black Rocks, St. Kitts Scenic Railway, Vibes Beach Bar, Reggae Beach and Spice Mill.
Some good news for fully-vaccinated nationals and residents who have been excluded from Port Zante while ships are in, they are now allowed to enter the Travel Approved Port Zante site while cruise ships are in port.
You must show a photo ID alongside a photocopy or original vaccination card to enter retail stores, bars, restaurants and casinos.
Additionally, hotel stays are now available for fully vaccinated nationals and residents who were accustomed to staycations.
