St. Kitts and Nevis (Sports Page) – It has been confirmed that the legendary home of Dominoes in Butler’s Village, popularly known as the BUTLER’S DOMINO COLLEGE, was burnt to the ground, about three weeks ago.
The fire of unknown origin, occurred within the early hours of a Tuesday morning, when most villagers were fast asleep.
It was only a few month ago, that a huge Domino competition was hosted at the COLLEGE, complements of Area Representative, Hon. Alexis Jeffers, which was a Valentine’s special tournament.
During that tournament, Jeffers paid tribute to the original owner of the shop, known to all as SARGE and also to the more recent owner Clarence Jeffers, who accommodated the competition.
It is understood that the circumstances surrounding the fire are currently being investigated.
