by Kevon Browne

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN)— The Nevis Tourism Authority has announced the launch of Cape Air’s new flight service connecting Nevis and St. Croix. Starting on July 12, 2024, this route will offer twice-weekly flights on Fridays and Sundays, expanding travel options for residents and visitors.

“This new service by Cape Air is a testament to the growing demand for seamless travel from St. Croix to Nevis,” stated Premier Hon. Mark Brantley. “We are collaborating with Cape Air to introduce this route, which is expected to boost tourism, enhance business connections, and foster stronger ties between our islands.”

Cape Air’s service will provide passengers with seating, a crew, and a commitment to punctuality. This new route allows tourists to explore the culture, landscapes, and communities of both Nevis and St. Croix. The inaugural flight, July 12, 2024, will depart from St. Croix’s Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX) to Nevis’ Vance W. Amory International Airport (NEV), marking a development in regional air travel.

Special introductory rates start at US$328 from STX to NEV and US$349 from NEV to STX, including tax.

The flight schedule is as follows: Cape Air will depart St. Croix at 11:40 a.m. and arrive in Nevis at 12:45 p.m. The return flight will depart Nevis at 1:50 a.m. and arrive in St. Croix at 2:55 p.m.
