CCAICACB’s 8th Annual Conference to be Hosted in St. Kitts

Press Release, May 13, 2022 – The Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commissions & AntiCorruption Bodies (CCAICACB) will be holding its annual conference at St. KittsMarriott Resort from May 23 to 27, 2022. The conference, the eighth of its kind, will be held under the theme Controlling Corruption: Preventative Mechanisms work better than Reactive Measures.” 

Following the opening ceremony and first working day on Monday 23rd, the conference will feature three additional working days.Each of these days will feature panel discussions and presentations by experts from various member countries, both in person and virtually, on a variety of topics in keeping with the conferences theme and which are of utmost regional importance

The general public is encouraged to keep abreast with the developments and events during the conference period by following the daily updates coming out of the conference. The sessions are anticipated to be dynamic and highly informative

The CCAICACB was established in June 2015. St. Kitts and Nevis was one of the original twelve Commonwealth Caribbean countries to sign onto this regional body. At the 2021 postconference annual general meeting, Ms Pearletta Lanns, Chairperson of the St. Kitts Integrity Commission, and Mr Ricaldo Caines, Chairman of the Nevis Integrity Commission, were both elected to the Executive of the CCAICACB

Commissioners: Ms. Pearletta Lanns, Chairperson Mrs. Carol Boddie, Commissioner Mr. Dennis Knight, Commissioner 

They joined existing members Canon Mark Kendall, Chairman (Turks & Caicos Islands); Lady Anande TrotmanJoseph, Vice-Chairperson (Grenada); John Holmes, Member (Dominica); Dirk Harrison, Immediate Past Chairman (Jamaica); and Dr. Roger Koranteng, the representative of the Commonwealth Secretariat

The conference will receive country reports throughout the week and will end the fiveday event when it holds its annual general meeting on the morning of Friday 27th May
