St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Nine workers from the manufacturing division in St. Kitts and Nevis are the recipients of the “Employee of the Year Award” from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The recipients are Yeney Ardiles and Elena Jacquechel of Kajola Kristada Ltd; Robert Tyson and Juanita Yearwood of Carib Brewery Ltd; Pearline Harrigan and Kenya Phipps of Jaro Electronics; Diana Francis and Lennox Powell of API Harowe; and Lorna Wattley of Sun Island Clothing.
Kajola Kristada Ltd was presented with the President’s Award from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Accepting on the company’s behalf was its General Manager Mr. José Rosa
The manufacturing workers were recognised at the Manufacturing Division Annual Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, December 09 at Marshall’s Restaurant.
Held under the theme “Reimagining the Manufacturing Sector after COVID-19”, the event saw remarks by the Hon. Wendy Phipps, Minister of International Trade, Industry and Commerce, et al, and a feature presentation by Mr. Daniel Arthurton.
Also present at the luncheon were Mr. Kevin Hope, Executive Director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as President Ms. Giselle Matthews and representatives from small and medium-sized and large businesses in St. Kitts and Nevis.
