Chamber President Appeals to the Business Community to Support Vaccinations

St. Kitts-Nevis (WINN) – President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Giselle Matthews is appealing to members of the business community to support the local vaccination rollout.

Health officials are aiming to vaccinate 10,000 people by mid-April. To date, more than 8,000 people in the Federation have taken the jab and officials are aiming to achieve ‘herd immunity’ to COVID-19 by June /July 2021.

” It’s really to appeal to those in the business community, appeal to those employers … to allow time for your employees, your team members, your associates, your colleagues to get vaccinated.”

Ms. Matthews also quoted from a recent article published February 18, by Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the US, Sir Ronald Saunders that pressed the case for vaccination.
