St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Conaree Community will be hosting its first ever Job Fair on Saturday, June 11 2022 between the hours of 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Conaree Community Centre. According to the organiser, Mr. Delwayne Delaney, individuals will have the opportunity to engage businesses from various industries about job vacancies.
Delaney said these job opportunities are open to all interested individuals on the island. However, individuals are required to present a resume as they engage businesses. The organiser is encouraging individuals to come with an open mind, not just to seek job opportunities, but to learn about the businesses.
13 businesses will be joined by the Medical Air Services Association (MASA) to carry out this initiative. The businesses include, but not limited to Carambola, Royal St Kitts Hotel, Koi Resort, Pro Video Production Audio Visuals, Blue Torch Productions, Sugartown Organics, Delta Petroleum, Advantage Building Maintenance Systems, Port Services Ltd and Apple Syder.
Delaney noted that most of the businesses lined up for the Conaree Job Fair are small businesses that are owned and operated by young people; hoping that this can serve as an inspiration to other young people to invest their time in something worthwhile.
Individuals who are not working are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity so that they too can earn an income and fend for themselves and their families.
