St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Federation has recorded 37 active cases of COVID-19 in 48 hours, on Saturday 26 cases and on Sunday 11 cases, according to the ministry of health’s press release issued Sunday (June 20).
St Kitts and Nevis has recorded 341 confirmed cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began some 16 months ago.
Three hundred and twenty-six cases, with one death, were recorded on St Kitts.
Nevis has recorded 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There are now 265 active cases of the coronavirus here and so far 75 people have recovered.
As of Saturday, only 33.9 percent of the adult population (11,205) had received both doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine. An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of the vaccine. Health officials say for the country to achieve herd immunity 33,037 people must be fully vaccinated.
