St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Silver Spirit will not make its scheduled call at Port Zante today (Dec. 30) according to a notice on the website of the St. Kitts and Nevis Information Service.
No reason was given for the cancellation.
However, a reliable source told WINN that the cancellation was due to a high number of COVID-19 infections onboard the cruise ship.
Health officials are expected to provide more details related to the cancellation in an emergency COVID-19 Press Briefing today (Dec. 30).
The source further stated that previous cruise cancellations were due to high COVID-19 infections on board the ships.
