St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Premier Mark Brantley is inviting Kittitians who normally flock Nevis for Culturama, the Nevis Summer Festival now canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, to still journey to the sister isle for the holiday weekend.

He stressed that while street celebrations, like Jouvert and costume parades, will not be held this year, Nevis still boasts many weekend attractions and activities including a  mini-food fair.

Several hotels on the island of Nevis are also offering “staycation specials for this emancipation weekend.

Premier Brantley also expressed that many Kittitians do not know or have not been to Nevis and invites the residents of St. Kitts to use this weekend as an opportunity to learn about their sister island.

Culturama may be canceled, but there is still much to do this weekend on Nevis.
