St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – The government has released changes to the emergency powers regulations and extended the national curfew for two more weeks.
The Statutory Rules and Orders (SRO) No.34 of 2021 authorized the curfew extension from 11:01 pm of each day until 5:00 am of the following day commencing Monday 9 August 2021 and ending at 5:00 am on Monday 23rd August 2021.
“In an effort to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 during the period of night curfew, every person shall remain confined to his or her place of residence, inclusive of his or her yard space, to avoid contact outside of the family.”
