Basseterre, St. Kitts (WINN): Davin “Dagga” Phipps, 32, of Lower Westbourne Ghaut, Basseterre, has been charged with the murder of 24-year-old Jimmy Allen.
The charge is related to a shooting incident that occurred on February 4, 2024, at Upper College Street Ghaut in Basseterre.
According to police reports, the incident occurred between 2:30 and 3 p.m. on February 4. Jimmy Allen, a resident of Upper College Street, was shot multiple times after exiting a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, Phipps was formally charged with murder on August 29, 2024, at the Basseterre Police Station.
In the initial investigations, authorities indicated that two assailants accosted Allen. The police have not disclosed the name of the other assailant.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities ask anyone with relevant information to come forward.
