St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN)—The Department of Agriculture in St. Kitts has launched a logo design competition inviting the public to create a new official visual identity for the department.
The competition is open to members of the general public, including current Department of Agriculture staff. Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams, with each entrant or team permitted to submit up to two designs. The selected winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
Organisers are seeking a logo that is distinctive, professional and suitable for long-term official use. Designs should reflect the department’s role in advancing agriculture, food security, innovation, sustainability and service to the nation. Entries must be original, created by the entrant or entrants, and must not have been previously published or used.
The logo should be simple, memorable and adaptable across different applications. It must work effectively in full colour and in black and white, as well as at both small and large sizes.
Participants are prohibited from using copyrighted images, stock logo templates, watermarks or third-party trademarks. Designs may also incorporate elements associated with growth, national identity and the department’s wider agricultural mission.
If permitted by the department, artificial intelligence-generated concepts must be declared and substantially developed into an original design by the entrant. Entrants remain responsible for confirming that their work is original and that all necessary rights have been cleared.
Submissions must include a high-resolution full-colour logo in PNG or PDF format, together with a black-and-white version. Entrants must also provide a design statement of no more than 150 words explaining the concept, colours and symbols used. Each submission should include the entrant’s full name, telephone number and email address. Department staff may additionally provide their job title and unit.
Shortlisted participants will be required to submit editable source or vector files, preferably in SVG, AI or EPS format, before the final selection is made. The winning design will become the official visual identity of the Department of Agriculture.
The deadline for submissions is September 11, 2026. Interested participants are asked to email the design and supporting information to agriculture@gov.kn.
