St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Former Prime Minister Denzil Douglas says he has plans to make the Citizenship By Investment Programme a major earner of foreign exchange for the country once again.
Arguing that the Team Unity administration watered down the CBI considerably, Dr Douglas says the programme is not at the moment of a platinum standard as the government suggests.
The St Kitts Nevis Labour Party Leader says he has been doing his homework on how to re-invigorate the programme, and an SKNLP administration would make that a priority.
The man who headed the former administration and was accused of using the CBI as a slush fund during that period, in an interview on WINN FM Monday, denied as he had done five years ago, that had been the case.
