St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Leader of the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) says he is open to an alliance with another political party should the SKNLP win a majority of the seats in the National Assembly Elections.
Dr. Drew said he is not open to any discussions with Dr. Timothy Harris but will consider working with the People’s Labour Party if the occasion arises.
“I am not going to sit with Timothy Harris. PLP as an organization, I want to encourage the supporters to look at the SKNLP. Many of them were supporters of the SKNLP, and I want to say to them to come home. We are going to receive them.”
The SKNLP is readying itself for general elections which may come in a matter of weeks following the dissolution of parliament on Tuesday (May. 10).
Dr. Drew during WINN FM’s Island Tea on Friday, May 13, said he was confident that the SKNLP will secure a majority of the seats in the National Assembly Elections, which he said will bring stability to the country.
The SKNLP officially launched its full slate of candidates to contest the eight seats on St. Kitts.
