St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In commemoration of its 40th Anniversary, October 01 2023, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) has announced a Stamp Design Competition.

According to the ECCB, “Entrants may choose to depict an individual or a group of people, as well as any major achievement(s) or development(s) they consider to be instrumental to the legacy of the ECCB. Entrants may also choose to illustrate the ECCB’s proven record of excellence and forward-looking vision, that has been recognised, through various international awards for innovation. For example, the 2022 Central Banking Green Initiative Award for its Solar Canopy Project.”

Residents of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are eligible to participate in the Stamp Design Competition. However, employees of the ECCB and its affiliates, their close relatives, as well as persons connected with the judging of the competition are not eligible to participate.

The competition will be judged in three categories: individuals ages 5-11, 12-17, and 18 and over. All entries must be submitted to the ECCB’s 40th Anniversary Planning Committee via email at efapc@eccb-centralbank.org with the subject line 40th Anniversary Stamp Design Competition. The deadline for entries is October 25 2022. Any questions or queries relating to the competition should be sent to the email efapc@eccb-centralbank.org by October 18.

Winners will be awarded certificates and prizes.
