St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Local recording artist Erica Edwards announced that she was selected as a finalist to perform at a major musical event in Jamaica in mid-September.
Edwards in a social media post said, ” I am so excited to announce that I have been selected as a finalist to perform for the 2nd annual Caribbean Rhythm Showcase to be held in Jamaica. It will be my first time in Jamaica, and I want to thank the Caribbean Export Development Agency and Headline Jamaica for making it possible! St. Kitts and Nevis, I love you, and I will do my very best to represent the Nation.”
The 2nd annual Caribbean Rhythm Showcase will be held live in Jamaica on September 18, 2022, and will feature hand-selected artistes from across the Caribbean. Edwards and 24 others will be performing their original music in a myriad of Caribbean genres, including soca, reggae, dancehall, Caribbean pop, rap, cadence-lypso and zouk.
The Caribbean Rhythm Showcase was organised to give rising artistes an opportunity to showcase their talents, gain exposure and create opportunities for the artists to meet other regional musicians and market their music worldwide.
