St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN):  On October 29, 50-year-old Alphonso Thompson of West Farm escaped from the authorities at Joseph N France General Hospital on October 29, where he was admitted as a patient.

Thompson was charged on November 1, 2021, for the offence of Escaping Lawful Custody.

Initially, Thompson was sentenced to serve a 30-day term for the offence of Making Use of Threatening Language, for which he was convicted on October 22, 2021.

After the escape, a wanted poster was issued for Thompson by Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP), and he subsequently turned himself in on October 31 and has since been returned to the prison.
