St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Eson Gaiton, 21, of Upper Market Street, has been charged with the murder of Junior Mervin Stephens of Bramble Crescent, Tabernacle.
In a release, the Police indicated that they had formally charged Gaiton for the murder of Stephens, which was committed on July 10, 2022, in Cayon.
Gaiton was charged on July 31 and remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison.
On July 10, in Cayon, Gaiton died from a stab injury at an event, which subsequently led to a police investigation of the fatal stabbing incident of that man, who at the time was unidentified.
On July 14, the victim’s identity was shared by authorities revealing the victim was 33-year-old Mervin Stephens, also known as “Buzzy” or “Warjet” of Bramble Crescent, Tabernacle Village.
