St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Residents of St. Kitts and Nevis were shocked when a three-story house belonging to a prominent contractor started sliding from its foundation on Thursday (November 12).
Eyewitnesses spoke to WINN when we visited the scene.

Some people WINN approached for comments were too distraught to speak.
The heavy rainfall the Federation has been experiencing for the past couple of days just added to a problem that already existed, according to reports.
There was a problem with water leakage further up the road from the house that suffered damage in the landslide.
Water seepage into the foundation and the heavy rainfall added to the saturation of the earth and acted as the catalyst which led to the land side, eyewitnesses told WINN.
