St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St. Kitts Farmers Cooperative Society postponed the Sweet Potato Mehlay until further notice.
Initially, the event was slated for Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Agro Strip (verge between Newtown playing field and TDC), where different varieties of sweet potatoes and their byproducts would be on display.
A new date for Sweet Potato Mehlay will be provided shortly.
People can look forward to sweet potato fruit cake, cookies, conkie, other sweet potato méals, research presentations on sweet tuberous root vegetables and a Sweet Potato Dish Competition when a new date has been announced.
