St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A man in his mid 30’s was fatally shot last night (Sep. 23) in Newtown, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Krishan Ritchen of Ponds Pasture was reportedly shot in the head sometime after 8 p.m. in the vicinity of the Fire Station in Newtown. Police say investigations are ongoing.
This brings the total number of homicides for the year to nine, seven in St. Kitts and two in Nevis.
Last year, St. Kitts and Nevis recorded ten murders.
