Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis(WINN)-The governing Council of CXC is slated to meet on Tuesday, May 25 to discuss and approve final examinations and procedures for this year’s regional examinations.
A press release from the Council said a press release will be issued after that meeting and a press conference will be held to update the public by Wednesday, May 26.
In recent weeks top CXC officials engaged ministers of education and other stakeholders to discuss procedures for this year.
“Governance committees of CXC®, which are comprised of regional government representatives, are reviewing recommendations on CXC’s 2021 regional examination strategy that emanated from these consultations and the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) Council of Human and Social Development (COHSOD) 28th Special session on 12 May 2021.”
CXC’s School Examinations Committee (SEC) met on Friday, 21 May 2021 to consider and advise on the strategy for the 2021 regional examinations.
