St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Seven calypsonians will compete in the TDC sponsored Senior Kaiso Finals set for Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the David Freeman Centre of Excellence following the elimination of six calypsonians from Sunday night’s Semi-Finals.
The finalists are Keith “Dis N Dat” Scarborough (246 points); Kirtley “King Irwin” Morton (242 points); Oscar “King Astro” Browne (228 points); Shomari “Sookie” Mitchell (224 points); Tyrone O’Flaherty whose stage name is “Bahowlah the Meek” (221 points); Andrew “Murray” Hendrickson (220 points) and Tamiche Esdaille whose stage name is “Lady Destiny”(220 points).
The seven finalists will compete to dethrone the reigning monarch, Andrew “King Hollywood” Nisbett.
The Nevis Culturama Committee received the green light from the National COVID-19 Task Force to proceed with the rescheduled activities to mark the 47th edition of Culturama and all of the activities will be staged virtually.
