St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Following the announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office that citizens and residents of the Federation are set to receive dividends from the Citizenship by Investment Program, Social Security sent out a release with more information on how individuals apply for the dividends.

The statement from the statutory body stated that the first batch of payments would be made by Thursday, December 15th, 2022.

The first group include:

• Social Security and Government Pensioners

• Private and Public Corporations with whom Social Security have verified banking information as their information has been provided by their respective employers or already verified by Social Security.

Individuals that do not fit the first group are asked to apply for the dividend online at https://socialsecurity.kn/cbi/.

Submissions must be accompanied by a valid social security card and proof of accurate banking details that could be verified through an Electronic Fund Transfer Form found at https://socialsecurity.kn/forms/.

In-person registration may be completed at the Social Security offices in Basseterre and Pinney’s Estate.

Persons are encouraged to have a valid passport or birth certificate where a social security card is unavailable.

For more information, contact the Social Security Board at 465-2535 or 469-5245 or ask questions via Whatsapp at 662-8479 or 667-2535.

With the first batch of payments expected on December 15, people still need to learn what to expect from the dividend payment and how much this will cost the government.

More on this as information becomes available.
