St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Health officials reported five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, pushing the number of active coronavirus cases here to 44.
There are 531 recovered cases and the total number of cases recorded since the pandemic began is 578.
St. Kitts has recorded a total of 558 cases and Nevis 20. Three people have died from COVID-19.
A look at the vaccination numbers reveals that 58.4 percent of the adult population or 19,625 people have received both doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
71.8 percent of the target population has received the first dose of the vaccine
The NEOC briefing slated for later today is expected to address a number of issues including a recent breach of quarantine by a hotel guest. Police are investigating that matter but the individual in question tested negative for the virus.
