St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Palace Awards Investiture Ceremony for Kittitians and Nevisians recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2023 was held at Government House, St. Kitts on Wednesday morning, July 05, 2023.
The honourees included Mr. Larkland Montgomery Richards, OBE, in the sphere of Tourism; Mr. Peter Coury, MBE, was recognised in the sphere of Business Enterprise; Mrs. Marjorie Morton, CSM, MBE, in the sphere of Governance and Public Service; Pastor Eric Maynard, MBE in the sphere of Outreach and Evangelism and Ms. Vida Henrietta Williams MBE in the sphere of Public Service.
The Governor General of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dame Marcella Liburd, presented the awards to the honourees.
Another individual from the cohort of honourees, Mr Alphonso Bridgewater OBE, CSM, was invested at Buckingham Palace in June 2023 for his contribution to Sports and Sports Administration.
Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, congratulated the honourees on their achievement and thanked them for paving the way to the steady development and progress of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Dr. Hanley added, “Your achievement serves as a beacon of inspiration and a testament to the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of us. Congratulations once again, and thank you for your outstanding contributions to the development and progress of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
