Coordinator on Nevis, Deputy Director of Sports, Brian Dowe, on Monday, broke the great news that Grass root Football is returning to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis
Dowe noted that there was an understandable break, due to the covid -19 crisis, but now that things have markedly quietened down, the President of the SKNFA, Mr. Atiba Harris has put things in place to get the program restarted.

The program is geared to girls and boys aged 5 to 12 years and the registration is absolutely free.

Dowe noted that his Department has already reached out to all of the Primary schools on Nevis and similar efforts have been made on St. Kitts.

The program recommences on Saturday, April 9th on both islands, with an opening ceremony at 9 am on Nevis and another at 10 am on St. Kitts.

The venues will be the Mondo track on Nevis and Warner Park on St. Kitts.

Transportation for the participants will be provided courtesy of the SKNFA,
participants are advised that all necessary covid -19 protocols will be observed.
