St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): With St. Kitts and Nevis, now in possession of more than 20,000 COVID-19 vaccines and stepping up its vaccination drive, how do you access the jab?
WINN called the recommended 311 Hotline and was greeted by a responder who said there were two ways a vaccine could be accessed.
An individual could visit a nearby Health Centre and wait in line or book an appointment and wait to be contacted.
People over 80 are asked to check with their doctor before taking the vaccine.
Officials have indicated that appointments could be achieved two days after they are booked but that depends on how many people are trying to access the service.
Information required when making the appointment includes name, age, occupation, address, phone number, and information on any existing health condition.
The process at the clinic involves COVID-19 vaccination cards for individuals receiving their first dose of AstraZeneca.
The second dose is to be administered 10 weeks later.
The Federation is also awaiting the arrival of 21,600 vaccines from the COVAX facility.
