St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Authorities have confirmed the identity of the human remains found in the Bayford’s Mountain area on April 01 to be Jesse Lee.

Jesse Lee was last seen last year on November 18, entering a blue rental from his home in Lime Kiln.

A few days later (November 21, 2021), the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force initiated a missing person alert for the young man, who was 29-years-old when reported missing.

According to a release from the Police, evidence taken from the scene narrowed the investigations to focus on a person of interest. Subsequently, DNA samples from the remains and a close relative were sent abroad for testing, and the results proved to be a match.

Upon news of Jesse’s disappearance, Floyd Lee, Jesse’s father, and his family searched the mountains after Jesse shared voice notes and information about his whereabouts and the persons he was with; the information was reported to the police.

WINN awaits confirmation on the cause of death of Jesse Lee.
