St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The government is announcing the appointment of three new Ambassadors.
Former Minister of Public Infrastructure Ian ‘Patches’ Liburd, who has an election petition challenging his election defeat in Constituency #1, in the June 5 General Election, is now appointed an Ambassador.
Former Minister of Labour Vance Amory, who did not compete in the last general election, is also now an Ambassador as well as former St. Kitts Nevis Defense Force Captain Kevin Williams
The new Ambassadors, according to Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris will “provide support to the government as a whole and the Office of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister on a range of matters relating to regional and international affairs, CBI, special projects, public sector reform, rural and sustainable development, public infrastructure, utilities, alternative energy, and public policy issues.”
