(Press release) The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College has concluded its Presidential Search and announces the appointment of Mr. Andrew Abraham as its fifth President. Mr. Abraham assumes his role as President on 1 July 2023.

Mr. Abraham earned an Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Technology from Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University), before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) in Computer Information Systems from Midwestern State University. In 2014 he completed a Level one (1) Certificate in College and University Administration with the University of Manitoba. Mr. Abraham also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the University of the Virgin Islands.

Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the University of the Virgin Islands, in Creativity Leadership and Innovation for Change.

Mr. Abraham brings with him vast experience in Infrastructure Communication Technology Organization (ICTO) Project Coordinator from JP Morgan Chase and International Business Machines (IBM). During his time at IBM as a Project Manager, he managed successful projects in excess of millions of (US) dollars.

He was also a content expert in the development of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Curriculum for the CARICOM region. The programme was developed by the Association of Caribbean Tertiary Institution (ACTI) in partnership with University of the West Indies, Mona. This programme is currently offered at CFBC within the Division of Technical Vocational Education & Management Studies (TVEMS), where he would have led as Dean for the past eleven (11) years.

Mr. Abraham developed initiatives that propelled the Division, into offering sought after programmes by perspective students across the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. His combined experience in instruction, curriculum, institutional and project management—locally, regionally, and internationally—will support his leadership in enhancing the College’s development.

The CFBC congratulates Mr. Abraham on his new role as President and wishes him every success as the college seeks to always strive for excellence.
