St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – A long line was witnessed just outside of the Inland Revenue Office in Basseterre Tuesday morning as people lined up to pay their taxes today Tuesday, June 15, the usual due date. .
In a release to the media Tuesday morning, the Inland Revenue Department said it had extended the due date until June 30 as a result of the 14-day lockdown that is now in effect.
So, taxpayers, to repeat now have until June 30 to pay the following taxes:
- Island Enhancement Fund (E-Fund)
- Hotel & Restaurant Tax
- Insurance Premium Tax
- Insurance Registration Fee
- Travel Tax
- Tourism Development Levy
- Unincorporated Business Tax
- Value Added Tax
- Withholding Tax
The Department is also asking customers to use the online services available to avoid the need for in-person transactions.
