St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In a Facebook post, the St. Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) informed the public of an island-wide electricity outage that occurred earlier this morning Wednesday (Jan. 13) at about 7:45 a.m. as a result of a failure in one of the generator’s switchgear.
Restoration efforts have begun, however, no estimated restoration time is available as yet.
A further update will be provided at 9:30 am.
