Basseterre, St. Kitts (WINN): After three weeks of evading the authorities, Jesus Valdez has been captured.
According to a release from the Police, the 20-year-old resident of Market Street was taken into Police custody following a joint operation by Officers of The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP).
Valdez was captured along the coastline in the C.A. Paul Southwell Industrial Site area before 9 p.m. on April 30.
The 20-year-old was in custody after being charged with assault and escaped custody on April 14.
Subsequently, an additional wanted poster was issued indicating that Valdez was wanted for the offence of Escaping Lawful Confinement.
