St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The escaped prisoner, Jesus Valdez, was captured on June 9 in Godwin Ghaut and is currently in Police custody, according to the Public Relations Officer of the Police.
Initially, Valdez, 20, who resided at Market Street, was charged with assault and escaped custody on April 14.
After evading custody for 16 days, Valdez was captured in the Newtown area and charged with Escaping Lawful Confinement.
The young native of the Dominican Republic escaped a second time from Her Majesty’s Prison on May 16.
Now after evading the authorities for three weeks he has been recaptured.
