St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): One hundred eighteen thousand Jehovah’s Witness congregations worldwide will participate in a global programme during the first week of April. The programme entails a special talk held under the theme “You can face the Future with Confidence.”
In St. Kitts and Nevis, the special talk will be held on the weekend of April 01 and 02, 2023. It will consist of a 30-minute presentation at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The presentation will be available in both English and Spanish.
A press release from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses confirms that the theme was chosen to address growing global concerns and boost one’s confidence in facing the future.
“In the face of widespread economic strain, national conflicts and social unrest, surveys indicate that confidence in the future is at an all-time low in many countries and lands, including St. Kitts and Nevis. According to the 2023 Edelman Trust Barometer, 24 of the 28 countries surveyed are seeing “all-time lows in the number of people who think their families will be better off in five years.”
The statement also highlights the advice of Mr Robert Hendriks- Spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses, who said, “The challenges we face may seem overwhelming, but the Bible holds out a powerful hope for the future that can help us right now.”
Meanwhile, citizens and residents of St.Kitts and Nevis are also invited to join over 20 million global attendees for the annual observance of the Memorial of Jesus Christ’s death, to be held on the evening of Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The main feature of the Memorial is a talk about the importance of Jesus’ death and how people can benefit from what God and Christ have done.
Attendees who choose to participate in the sessions via video conferencing can check the “Attend a Meeting” section on the homepage of the official website of Jehovah’s Witnesses jw.org for local addresses and meeting times.
Admission to both sessions is free and requires no registration.
