St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): History was made in St. Kitts as two brothers were selected to the West Indies Team two weeks apart and are making their debut on the same tour.

While celebrating the success of Mikyle Louis, Kittitians are roaring even more as his elder brother Jeremiah Louis was also called to the West Indies Team.

The Louis brothers are expected to make their mark on the international scene together when they join the West Indies Test Squad on a tour to England in July.

The Louis brothers are the first two men from St. Kitts to make it to the West Indies, the 8th and 9th men in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to be selected to the team, and the first pair of brothers from the Federation to achieve such feat.

Jeremiah Louis will replace injured bowler Kemar Roach.

Minister of Sports – St. Kitts Samal Duggins congratulated Jeremiah on his achievement and pledged the nation’s support to the brothers.

“Jeremiah, your hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent have paid off. You have made St. Kitts and Nevis immensely proud, and your achievement is an inspiration to all young athletes in our Federation. We are all cheering for you and Mikyle as you both embark on this incredible journey. Your success is a testament to the potential that lies within our young sportsmen and women. Best of luck in England, and know that the entire nation is behind you. Give it your all and make us proud!”

Mikyle Louis, 23 and Jeremiah Louis, 28, both represented the Leeward Islands Hurricanes.
