Law enforcement officers receive certification in Crime Scene Management

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force completed the Crime Scene Management Training held from June 3 to 7 in Basseterre St. Kitts.


The training was facilitated by Kerry Waterman, director of Policing and Risk Management at the Regional Security System (RSS) and Dr André Clarke, Chief of Operations- Intelligence at the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (CARICOM IMPACS).


The officers were presented Certificates of Completion by Commissioner of Police James Sutton. They include:

The training commenced with an opening ceremony on June 3 which was attended by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Glenroy Blanchette, National Security Advisor Dr Lionel Rawlins and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cromwell Henry and other senior officials within the Ministry of National Security.


According to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, “The training is a significant step forward in enhancing our capabilities to manage and preserve crime scenes effectively, ensuring safe communities for all.”
